Poster Viewing Information
Abstracts selected for Poster Walk and Moderated Poster Session are requested to prepare a traditional hanging poster which will be displayed in the Poster Area.
All Poster Presentations have been scheduled in one shift from Wednesday, June 7 till Friday, June 9, 2017.
- Your poster should be displayed as per the number in the Programme Book.
- Participants may mount their posters from 8:00 on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
- Participants need to remove their poster boards by 13:00 on Friday, June 9, 2017. (The Organising Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed by the end of the Meeting)
- Participants are requested to be present at their designated poster board(s) during coffee and lunch breaks during their respective poster sessions to answer any questions.
Parallel Poster Walk Presentations will be given during lunch and coffee breaks on Thursday and Friday 7-8 June, 2017. All participants are invited to the Poster Boards to hear the short presentations and to ask questions. Please note that there are a number of parallel walks in each session, consisting of a number of posters in each walk. Each Poster Walk will be guided by one chairperson.
Presenters should be at the Poster area 10 minutes before the start of the Poster Walk session and remain there until the session has finished. Each presenter has been allocated 5 minutes to present his/her Poster, which includes 2 minutes for discussion.
Preparation of Printed Posters
Please prepare your poster on one sheet of paper. Alternatively, presenters may display their material on several smaller sheets.
Posters will be displayed in portrait format.
The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
The text, illustrations, etc should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters.
