​Dear ESPNIC Nursing Colleagues,

We would like to welcome all paediatric and neonatal intensive care nurses from across Europe and beyond to the next ESPNIC Meeting in Lisbon in June 6-9 2017.

In conjunction with the nurse sections and members, we have tried to put together a varied and exciting program for both paediatric and neonatal nurses around the key research and clinical priorities identified by many nurses across Europe. We also hope to incorporate the varied European perspectives on a range of different topics and of course lots of time for discussion and networking.

Our goals for the nursing programme are to:

• Present up to date evidence-based lectures on topics relevant for PICU and NICU nurses
  
• To promote discussion and debate around 'hot' topics as identified by nurses across Europe
  
• To share experiences and promote discussion and collaboration between PICU and NICU nurses across Europe
